Patrycja Chodnicka-Jaworska, PhD, is a researcher at the University of Warsaw and the director of the Risk and Finance Management Center at the University of Warsaw. Author and co-author of over 100 scientific publications. Participant of scientific and industry conferences and seminars (including those organized by STERN, University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, London School of Economics). Visiting professor at the University of Turin. Member of working groups for improving ESG reporting among Polish enterprises at the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Development and Technology, expert at the European Commission in the field of ESG. She conducts research in the field of banking risk management. Head of dozens of research projects, incl. including the determinants of credit ratings of financial institutions and countries, the effectiveness of the banking sector, the risk of bankruptcy of the banking sector, the ESG risk management, the sensitivity of the stock prices market. She is a member of scientific committees of journals and conferences. Co-editor of the scientific journal Faculty of Management Working Paper Series. Member of Euro Working Group for Commodity and Financial Modelling (EWGCFM), International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE), Risk, Banking and Finance Society (RBFS), American Insurance Risk Association (AIRA), Commodity and Energy Markets Association (CEMA). She has received several awards and distinctions, including a scholarship from the Minister of Science and Higher Education for outstanding achievements for doctoral students (2012/2013). Advisor in public and private institutions.
