On December 11 at 14:30, an important event dedicated to the bioeconomy will take place in Trieste within the framework of the European project BIOECONOMY GIANTS, funded by the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking.
The initiative is promoted by Italia Foresta Legno – Cluster Nazionale and the SPRING – Italian Circular Bioeconomy Cluster, in cooperation with the Regione Autonoma Friuli Venezia Giulia and with the local collaboration of Legno Servizi – Cluster Forestale del FVG and Fondazione Agrifood & Bioeconomy FVG.
The event will provide an opportunity to discuss current challenges and future opportunities of the circular bioeconomy, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and the development of regional value chains.
Among the speakers, Prof. Piergiuseppe Morone will contribute with insights on research perspectives and policy implications for the bio-based economy.
